About Dew Drops Childcare

At Dew Drops Childcare we have been serving the Laurel community since January of 2024. We offer a range of flexible childcare options at an affordable rate. We do accept Best Beginnings, are licensed, insured and a member of a number of small business groups. We offer preschool daily from 8:30-11:30 a.m. with a Montessori approach on learning. We provide small groups, certified staff, homecooked meals, a secure location as well as an app for updates and check in.

What we offer

We offer full-time, part-time, preschool, after-school, summer care, as well as limited drop-in availability. Prices available upon tour request.

Preschool

Preschool is offered to only 6 children per year. We provide preschool Monday through Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. We focus on learning through play by counting with manipulatives, taking nature walks, drawing the things we see in real life. We do focus on learning letter, number, color, shape as well as name recognition.

Owners

Samantha and Jessica

You may see Samantha at our Dew Drops location more often and Jessica at our Little Sprouts location. We joined forces in 2023 to open a quality childcare facility. Both having been single parents ourselves we wanted to be able to provide a safe, understanding environment for families to bring their children. With nearly 22 years of combined experience between us we continue to learn and grow every day to better serve our communities.
